The instructions for this card are included with the kit, however they are also available on line on our new blog. Access is exclusive to kit purchasers until after Father’s Day. New Stock
Kaisercraft have 3 new paper collections. Skull Girl follows the same theme as Skull Boi, but with funky girl colours and flowers. Perfect for 3D layering these papers make scrapping any girl with attitude a breeze.
On The Dot has shades of blue, grey and reds which means these patterned papers can be used for boys and girls. So let your imagination run wild and create something unique and dotty with this fun collection.
Everblooming has bright shades of blues and greens and splashes of white; you won’t be able to decide which paper is your favourite. The contemporary patterns and plain pages make for easy scrapping.
Three Bugs in a Rug have released Playtime. Double sided papers for boys pages featuring dinosaurs, trains, space rockets, and stars and stripes, in shades of red, green blue, white and range. There’s something here for every young boy!
Colour Me Pink is the range for girls featuring flowers, swirls, circles and crowns in pink, white, green and black. For the princess or girly girl in your life!
K & Company’s Blue Awning is so beautiful, you won’t be able to resist. Quiet swirls and florals in a medium blue and soft, restful cream. There are coordinating alphas, rub ons with gems and pearls, tags and journaling pads too. Would suit heritage pages, but I have grabbed some to do horse pages too!
Another of K & Company’s offerings is Berry Sweet. Featuring glitter, foil, butterflies and beaded butterfly brads, be quick as this won’t last! Very girly!
It is only September but Christmas isn’t far away! You’ll be thinking about Christmas Cards soon, so Love Scrapbooking have blank cards by Artee Supplies and Kaisercraft in green and red. Hot Off The Press Cardmaker’s Christmas Creative Packs is everything you will need to make dozens of cards-paper, cardstock tags and art, glimmer paper and vellum. The Cardmaker’s Quotes for Christmas would finish off your greetings on the front and the inside of your cards perfectly. Cut or tear them out, ink, chalk or paint the edges, a bit of tape or glue and your done!
Prima have done it again- another beautiful range of papers in the Whisper Collection. With the ever popular bird, flourishes and gorgeous earthy colours you’re sure to need them all.
A great gift idea for a teenager is the Totally Cool Card Kit. At only $17.80 to make 20 cards, its good value too. Bright colours and loads of choice.
Paper Couture have lovely Paper Butterfly necklaces in four different designs. At only $19.00 each they would make a great gift for yourself or someone you love.
Fiskars have a new range of punches on the market- border, circle, embossing and corner punches, but these are not you little punches! These are BIG punches that will punch and emboss a 12x12 sheet!
Sizzix
Sizzix has been around a lot longer than Cuttlebug and has the advantage of having many more dies than Cuttlebug. It will cut cardstock, chipboard, corrugated paper, fabric and iron-on fabric, magnet, mat board, metallic foam, paper, photo paper, poly foam, pop-up sponge, shrink film, vellum and vinyl. Sizzix will emboss cardstock, chipboard, mat board, metallic foil, paper, photo paper and vellum.
The other great thing about Sizzix is it is easier to source than Cuttlebug!
I have kept the prices low, especially on the Big Shot Machine. ($155.00!)
Come in and see for yourself-Love Scrapbooking’s Big shot Machine has just arrived.
Have a look in Class Descriptions and Class Calendar for the classes that are on offer in September. Genevieve is running another class on Alcohol Inks for those who missed out last time. August 2008 Newsletter
Hi everyone!
We get a lot of rain in August, so make the most of the rainy days to stay in and catch up on your scrapbooking. Everything you need is at Love Scrapbooking, including friendly advice from Jo-Ann, Angela and Lauren.
It is with regret that I have to cancel the October 2008 Love Scrapbooking Retreat. This is due to many factors, and I apologize for any inconvenience.
Scrap Nights are returning to just once a month from this month. The August Scrap Night is Friday, 1st August, 2008.
Angela is running Beginner’s Classes on Saturday afternoons in August, so all you people who couldn’t make it during the week- come on in! See the Class Descriptions for details.
50 cent PAPER SALE
Come in and grab a bargain before they’re all gone! Some of these papers were $2.10 but are now reduced to 50 cents! Also, stock up on overlays and rub on overlays – were up to $8.00, but now only 50 cents too!
New stock
KI Memories Bloom Collection. This is beautiful bright paper, some metallic shimmer paper, with epoxy and glitter coordinating stickers. Also, lace cardstock in pink, green or white butterflies and a white swirly one too.
Kaisercraft. Pink with black swirls and butterflies (why do we all LOVE butterflies so much?!) A New Baby range has been released- peach and pastel green, to suit both boys and girls. Also a travel range called Old World, a Military Collection and a boys collection called Skull Boi featuring cute skulls, crossbones and boyish symbols.
Cherry Arte. A range of papers to suit boys called Boy Story. Bright greens, reds blues and blacks with stars, dots and circles. Some of the pages have the title already done for you!
Crate Paper. Crate Avenue Collection. This has been around for a while but it is a classic pattern of line drawn flowers and stripes in cream and brown that won’t date.
Scrapworks. Florabella Collection. More flowers than you’ll know what to do with, and all with a coordinating distressed colour on the back of each sheet. Great value!
Sassafras Lass. Life is Beautiful Collection. This collection features the little owl that is so popular at the moment. This paper is quite patterned and loud, but a little will go a long way!

July 2008 Newsletter
Now the rain has REALLY arrived- isn’t it just perfect scrapbooking weather?! You can get all your scrapbooking/card making/ paper craft products at Love Scrapbooking, along with classes and advice.
This month Angela continues with Beginner’s Classes using Hot Off the Press’s beautiful kits, available in Baby Boy/Girl, young Boy/Girl, Beach, Dog, Cat, Wedding, Swirly, Floral and more. Angela will introduce you to the use of sketches to take the planning out of the preparation process. Once you have used a sketch, you’ll see how useful they are to move you forward to actually DOING instead of planning!
With small class sizes and lots of attention, you’ll gain in confidence to be able to scrapbook independently or to progress onto Intermediate classes.
New Stock
Stamp-It have done it again, with new stamps from the Curlique Range. These stamps were released just last month. To make it easier for you, dear customer,
I have purchased the unmounted sets of stamps available. These are great value with 7 – 16 stamps in each set. All you need to do is cut around each stamp and then pop them on your acrylic block for stamping. Swirls, greetings, flowers, butterflies, backgrounds and more. Of course if you want to order any stamps as individual wood-mounted stamps, you can.
Paper Inklings have just released a beautiful range of pink and blue papers suitable for Christening/Baptism/Naming Day scrapbooking. The butterfly and swirls paper is especially lovely. Rub-ons in titles and journaling spots complete the layout.
Crop-a-Dile Big Bite. Just ask Angela about this little beauty!! Angela just loves her smaller Crop-a-Dile, but this one is even better. Set an eyelet or gromlet with ease or punch a hole, through paper, cardstock, leather, chipboard, tin and CD’s anywhere you want. The Big Bite has a 6 inch reach-big enough to go right into the middle of your 12 x 12 layout with no effort at all!!
Making Memories Noteworthy. This range is designed to make journaling easier with old ledger pages, diecut lined paper and journaling spiral bound books (on back order).
Making Memories Passport. If you have traveled and now want to “scrapbook the trip” come and take a look at this range. There is a kit containing an 8 x 8 album and everything you’ll need to fill it, also a 12 x 12 page kit that contains 130 pieces, including 6 sheets of patterned paper, stickers, alphas, blossoms etc.
Kaisercraft haven’t forgotten the boys either, with a “Super Heroes” collection of papers. These are just waiting for those photos of your little (and big!) boys acting out their Superman fantasies!

Hi everyone!
Mother’s Day is just around the corner – have you thought about Mum’s gift yet? How about a gift voucher for scrapbooking supplies, or a class?
What about a machine to help her with her titling and die cuts (leave this where your Partner/kids can see it – hint! hint!)
Craft Robo and Klik-n-Kut Demonstration
Craft Robo is a wonderful machine that cuts letters, numbers, shapes, templates, titles, all as small or as large (up to A4) as you like. Enjoy the creative freedom it gives you at the click of a few computer keys. No more cartridges to buy, ever! Craft Robo’s big brother, Klik-n-Kut, does all this and also cuts chipboard and thick card, and engraves and embosses too and up to 15 inches wide. Klik-n-Kut Element has exactly the same cutting capabilities as the larger machine but cuts up to 9 inches wide.
Fred and Lucy from Skat Katz (the wholesale Distributor of Craft Robo and Klik-n-Kut in Australia) are going to be demonstrating at Love Scrapbooking on Thursday, 8th May, 2008 at 7.30pm. This is your chance to find out all about these die cutting machines, to ask all the questions and get ALL the answers. This demonstration evening is free and supper is provided. Places are limited so HURRY and call 9295 3863, or come in to reserve your place!

Now that the children are settled in at school, come in to Love Scrapbooking and do some “learning” of your own! This is much more enjoyable than learning time’s tables or reading Shakespeare though – come and learn how to use Alcohol inks, how to curl ribbon so it stays curled on your project, how to make “arty” cards and how to scrapbook, all from passionate scrapbookers that love this craft as much as you.
Apology
My sincere apologies to those people who were unable to access the current class/calendar and newsletter during February, and thanks to the customer who pointed the problem out to us! I have now changed Web Hosting companies and this (fingers crossed) shouldn’t happen again.

FEBRUARY 2008 NEWSLETTER
Hi!
Once the kids are back at school in February, how about attending a class at Love Scrapbooking and learning a few new skills yourself?
Beginner’s classes are running, as usual, over 4 Wednesday evenings. Don’t sit at home and watch TV, come and learn a hobby that will turn you into the recorder of your family’s history and give you so much pleasure in the process.
Jo-Ann is running a class called “Beauty” which will have you learning how to use clear acrylic stamps from Technique Tuesday and Autumn Leaves. This layout has received many comments whilst it has been on display at the shop, so come on- give it a go!
Valentine’s Day is not too far away either. Anne will show you how to make a fabulous card that will have everyone asking, “How did you make that?!”
Of course, it can be adapted to suit so many other occasions too.
Don’t know what to go on with once you’ve done the Beginner’s Classes?
Here’s the answer! Angela’s class is held on the last Friday of each month. It’s like a Scrap Night but with more help, instruction and techniques. Scrapbook photos from the same month last year, or the previous month of this year, into "A Year in Review" Calendar Album. Scrap Night
From February, 2008 there will be two Scrap Nights at Love Scrapbooking on the first and third Friday evenings of each month. The dates for February are Friday, 1st and Friday 15th February, 2008. Starts 7 pm and finishes 11pm. There’s Little Caesar’s Pizza for supper, the shop will be open to you but closed to the public, and you’ll save 10% on any purchases on the night. All for only $15.00!

Does 47 hours to scrapbook fill you with a sense of joy?! It can be yours, for only $260.00!
Love Scrapbooking’s first Scrapbooking Retreat is being held from 4th April, 3pm until 6th April, 2pm 2008.
The venue is Wandoo Hills Retreat on Sandplain Rd, Toodyay. It is purpose built for conventions and retreats, is in the middle of the bush, but has all mod cons like a pool, air conditioning, sealed road leading to the property, etc.
No housework, no children, no interruptions, no limitations – just a great group of likeminded people, all passionate about the same thing – scrapbooking!
We’ll give you 3 home cooked meals a day, plus morning and afternoon tea.
We won’t interrupt your creative flow with silly games and gimmicks.
If you want to stay up all night and complete a project, you can!
There is room for only 16 guests, so book and pay your deposit of only $50.00 early.
We strongly recommend layout/project planning and can help you in store with this.
Design Team news

Bec has promised to attend some classes in 2008 and to be the one to talk throughout the class at the “naughty end” of the table!
The decision to look for another DT member will be looked at early in 2008.

Love Scrapbooking Newsletter
November, 2007
Christmas is nearly here!
Time to think about Christmas cards, gifts for everyone, and some special time for yourself.
Angela and Anne are teaching Card making classes this month at Love Scrapbooking. Angela is demonstrating 5 classic cards using Christmas papers from Kaisercraft, with stamping and heat embossing. Anne is the “Queen of Cute” and is using stamping and embossing, then water colour or coloured pencils to finish her sweet gift boxes and cards. Anyone is going to be thrilled to receive a Christmas card from you this year, after a class with Angela or Anne!
There is also a Christmas card class by guest tutor Margaret, using embroidery on cards. These three cards are simple yet stunning and are easier to make than they look.
Lee-Ann is teaching a Gift Clock Class using a clock from Kaisercraft. Two styles are available and come with the clock mechanism included in the price. A beautiful gift for someone special, if you can bear to part with it!
Wish Lists
Take the guess work out of gift giving for your friends and family this year – let them know you have a Wish List at Love Scrapbooking! Come in and fill out a form (or email one to me) and I’ll keep them on file here, ready to help them choose a gift for you. Gift wrapping and gift tags can be provided too.
Saturday Afternoons
As there are no classes scheduled for any Saturday afternoons in November, please feel free to come and scrapbook/cardmake at Love Scrapbooking from midday to 4pm. Just like a Scrapnight, but on Saturday afternoon! Cost is $5.00, tea/coffee provided. Save with 10% off your purchases in lieu of Reward Stamps.
Two becomes four!
After being asked “So, what are we doing next week?” more than a few times after the second Beginner’s Class, I have decided to extend the Beginner’s Class to four classes. The first and second classes will remain unchanged, with the third class covering the use of Craft Robo (computer linked cutting machine – my new love!), Cricut (personal electronic cutter) and Cuttlebug (manual die-cutting and embossing machine). The fourth class will concentrate on journaling; an important part of scrapbooking that a lot struggle with.
Beginner’s Class costs remain unchanged at $10.00 per class.
If you have previously done Beginner’s Classes at Love Scrapbooking and want to do the new 3rd and 4th classes, just phone or call in to book and pay for your place.
Craft Robo
Love Scrapbooking took delivery of a wonderful new cutting machine called Craft Robo a few weeks ago. As the advertising blurb says “think outside the cartridge”. If you have a font or shape or clipart on your computer, or you can download one (or thousands) off the internet, or have them on a CD – Craft Robo can cut it. No cartridges, less size restriction, more creativity! I am thrilled to bits with Craft Robo and am looking forward to demonstrating it to you – just ask next time you’re at Love Scrapbooking.
Have a look at www.skatkatz.com.au/robo.php
Please note: Love Scrapbooking’s price is $595.00 for the same package!
